Silky Poo (Silky Terrier & Poodle)
The Silky Poo is a dog that results from the breeding of a silky terrier and a miniature or toy poodle. One of the nicest features of the Silky Poo is that they have the silky coat of the Terrier which sheds little (like the Poodle). For this reason, they may be more hypoallergenic and may be perfect for allergy sufferers. The coat may be almost any color and will probably require at least infrequent brushing to look its best. The Silkypoo is an ideal family dog as they get along well with all family members and other family pets. They are loyal and people oriented, energetic and intelligent. The full grown size of a Silkypoo will depend on the size of the poodle used in breeding, but it would be anticipated that this will be a small dog, ideal for condos and apartments as well as single family houses.
