Shihpoo (Shih Tzu & Poodle)
The Shipoo is a Designer Puppy which results from the breeding of a Shih Tzu and a toy or miniature Poodle. The resulting puppy has hypoallergenic qualities and is typically very intelligent. The coat of the Shipoo can be either long and straight or curly, depending on which parent it favors, and may be any color or combination of colors. Regular brushing will be required to keep the coat looking its best. The Shipoo learns easily and willingly and is usually happy and playful. Many Shipoo owners say that they are exceptionally easy to housebreak. They get along with children and other pets in the household well. The Shihpoo does not require an excess of exercise, so they do well in both house and apartment settings. Size: height will depend on the size of its Poodle parent; weight is usually around 10-12 pounds.
