Morkie (Maltese & Yorkie)

The Morkie is derived from the breeding of a Maltese and a Yorkshire Terrier.  Generally the Morkie will look more like one of these two breeds than the other, but in any event they will be cute and small in stature.  The Morkie's coat will be long and flowing at full growth., requiring either a short cut or frequent brushing.  The Morkie does not  require an inordinate amount  of exercise ~~ chasing after toys or romping with family members will suffice. Therefore, they are equally as at home in an apartment or condo setting as in a larger house.  Size: approximately 8-10 inches and 4-8 pounds.
