Siberian Husky
Siberian Huskies originated, naturally, in Siberia where their original purpose was to pull sleds, often in teams This is a very striking looking dog and a good family pet. The Husky is naturally friendly and therefore usually is not the best watchdog. Usually they are good with all members of the family, including other animals. They require a good deal of exercise daily, and are not ideally suited to apartment life unless their owners make the commitment to fulfill this need. Huskies can be stubborn and destructive if left alone in confined spaces for many hours a day. Their owners must plan on obedience training, to optomize their experience with this fine animal. Huskies come in an infinite variety of coat colors and markings, with blue or brown eyes, or splits (one blue & one brown) . Their undercoat sheds out in warm weather. Size: up to 24 inches and 60 pounds.
