Boxer
The Boxer is thought to have originated from breeding a number of different breeds~~perhaps Great Danes, English Bulldogs and Mastiffs. He is known for his agility, fearlessness and intelligence and is considered a perfect family dog. Boxers are affectionate and get along well with children and other animals that they know. They make good watchdogs too. Boxers do not require a great deal of coat maintenance, but will require a fair amount of exercise. They can be happy in either a home or apartment setting as long as care is taken to give them the opportunity to exercise daily. They can range up to 25" in height and 70-75 pounds in weight. Females are generally smaller than males.
